Kãrtika month is considered as the auspicious month to destroy sins.
According to Skanda Puranam and other epics, observing Kãrtika Somavãra Vratam sincerely and worshiping Šri Šiva as Lord Someshwara – who wears soma (moon) crescent on His head – brings His blessings to achieve one’s wishes in this life, enjoy happiness in this world and eventually reach eternal happiness of Moksha (Salvation).

4:00 pm – Ekãdašavara Rudrãbhishekam, 108 Šankha Abhishekam for Šri Šiva, Rudra Trišati Nama Pooja, Hãrati.
