Pãtašala Computer Interest Group (PCIG)

Welcome to Pãtašala Computer Interest Group!

Recognizing that technological advances are current and the future, Ganeša Pãtašala has created this facility for technology users to interconnect and share knowledge of computer science trends. This group will be led by experienced Information Technology professionals from various industries. This group is open to students from grade 4 to seniors in high school. Our teachers will create sub groups and offer short courses based on members’ interest.

Introduction to Python & Intermediate Class

Ganeša Pãtašala continues its online computer classes with ‘Introduction to Python for Beginners & Intermediate for continuing students in Python’. These are 15 week virtual courses beginning March 9, 2024 (Saturday). The Beginner & Intermediate courses are available for students from Grade 4 to Grade 12. We will take a maximum of 15 students per class (on “First Come” basis).

Course: Introduction to Python & Intermediate Class
Instructor: Ms. Uma Iyer
Every Saturday:
Beginners class – 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST)
Intermediate class – 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (EST)
Course duration: *15 weeks – (starting March 9th thru June 22nd, 2024)
Grades: 4 to 12
Course fee:
Beginners class – $110.00 per student
Intermediate class – $130.00 per student
Class Size: Max 15 (on a first come basis)

*Ganesa Patasala will be closed and no online classes conducted on May 25, 2024 (Saturday) in observance of Memorial Day.
